An Off-Road Adventure Itinerary in Superior, Arizona
Ready to rev up your sense of adventure? Just 45 minutes east of Phoenix, Superior offers an unforgettable off-road experience through some of the most rugged and scenic desert terrain in the state. Whether you're a seasoned explorer or a first-time rider, this day trip itinerary will take you from dusty trails to a delicious dinner under the desert sky.

Morning: Start Your Engines
Your desert adventure kicks off at Superior UTV Rentals, locally owned and operated by Dominic Vannucci and Gina Cavallaro. Gina handles the rentals while Dominic takes care of the equipment and sales (so if you're looking to purchase your own UTV he's your guy). These two embody the spirit of adventure, they love what they do—and it shows. Gina will help you pick the right vehicle and feel confident about operating it, go over the trail map, tell you good stories of their adventures, and make sure you’re all geared up for an epic ride.

Midday: Hit the Trails
Once you’ve got your ride, it's time to head out to the trail. From the shop you will be able to drive down Highway 60 to the start of the trail (only a three minute drive) as all of their UTVs are street legal. Whether you’re chasing views, climbing rugged terrain, or discovering hidden canyons, you’ll find yourself in awe of the landscape.

Montana Mountain trails are some of the best around the Phoenix area. The trail begins as you cross through a cattle ranch leading you down a path into a beautiful forrest of Saguaro cactus. Along the way up the switchbacks you'll see old ranches, a gorgeous view, possible deer sitings, coyotes and much more wildlife. This trail is unique as it takes you through the Saguaro cacti and eventually into the pine trees as you gain elevation. Great picnic spots found throughout with breathtaking Arizona views! The entire trail is 29 miles long and take up to 5 hours to complete. Rest stops included.

Take your time and enjoy the journey—it’s all about the ride.
